It’s been while since I’ve blogged. I actually have several blogs because I like to compartmentalize parts of the my life, and I haven’t posted on them for a long time either. I used to get embarrassed to make a post after a long absence, but when you have things going on in your life that need attention, a blog should fall by the wayside. If there were major life events occurring that required devoted time, I think that a blog would probably fall pretty low on everyone’s list. Hence, the long pause in my activity.
The hours in my job have changed. I now get up at 3:30 in the morning four days a week and go to bed at 7:30. Two nights of those days I get home with just enough time to get ready for bed since I work until 6:00 and get home a little before 7:00. These days I’ve just simply been too tired to blog. It hasn’t all been because of the new weird hours. For those of you who have read some of my first posts, you know that I suffer from fatigue quite a bit. This coming week I’m hoping to have a sleep study done. Based on my symptoms, one of my doctors wants to test me for narcolepsy. Crazy, right?! The insurance company has to approve it first, but it’s basically my last chance to find out what is causing this fatigue. I’ve had my blood work tested twice over the last three years, the last just last week. My numbers are all normal. Needless to say, it’s been very frustrating.
I’m hoping to continue the blogging. I really enjoy helping people through my writing, even if only a few people follow the advice or actually read the blog, so my goal is to continue posting when I can.
