It seems a little harsh, but it’s absolutely true. No one is going to get anywhere by playing the victim. There is always time to do the things that are important. Always. It might take some creative engineering, but it can happen. I suggest reading the book Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy to help you figure out ways to find time in your day.
How true….I heard the same comment years ago and always remembered it. But the comment I heard ended in important “TO YOU”. or you will always find the time to do what YOU THINK is important.
Hello…..Not really sure what I want to talk about, but had a very sad weekend. My spouce’s best friend past away on Wed. and her body was buried on her birthday (Saturday) just a block from where the two of them woud sit on their balcony to the Apartment Complex they lived in, The departed even comented on what a nice little cemetary it was. Who would of thought what the future would lead to as we pointed out where she use to live so long ago to family and friends.
Later that Saturday evening we went over to our friends house for dinner. Unbelievably, 5 out of the 6 of us all knew each other from the sports club before any of us were married. For the record, we have all been married for a Looong Time. Family, Friends and enjoying life is what it is all about. We played a game after a delicous meal called Wit & Wages and had a good time. Well I must admit my team smoked them because I know a lot about nothing, or I am a really good guesser. Good times had by all talking about the past.
It was also a very “learning” weekend. The other board where I hang out was talking about slavery. What I learned and not taught in school was about Irish Slavery starting in the 1600’s. You really should google that and read about it for 30 minutes. I have a little Irish, maybe on both sides and the things that happened were a real eye opener and somehow brought it close to home.
